Terms & Conditions
Draft for review. These terms are a design-stage draft published for transparency ahead of the August 2026 launch.
1. What Afiyah is
Afiyah is faith-aligned education, wellbeing, goal-tracking and marketplace-support technology for Muslim women.
2. What Afiyah is not
Afiyah is not a bank, insurer, broker, investment manager, custodian, financial adviser, medical provider, legal adviser or fatwa-issuing body. Regulated services, where available, are delivered by appropriately licensed third-party partners.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to hold an Afiyah account. Access for younger users, where offered, is only through supervised school or partner programmes.
4. Educational purpose
All content — including finance, wellbeing and religious material — is general education. It is not personal advice, diagnosis, legal opinion or a fatwa. You remain responsible for your own decisions, and should consult a qualified professional or scholar for your specific circumstances.
5. Noor and AI outputs
Noor can make mistakes. It is bounded by policy and citation requirements, but its outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Consequential actions require your explicit approval. See the AI boundaries.
6. Community conduct
Women-only circles exist to be a safe space. Harassment, proselytising pressure, commercial solicitation and sharing another member's private information are grounds for removal.
7. Partners
Reviewed partners contract directly with you. Afiyah facilitates discovery and consented introductions; it is not a party to the service you receive, and does not guarantee outcomes.
8. Changes
These terms are versioned. Material changes will be notified in-product, and your acknowledgement recorded against the new version.
